Show Season Started

This year, the weather has wonky. As well, with me arriving to Peacock Hill Equestrian Center ( Orange, CA / Orange County), it took us some time to get acquinted with the horses and developing their training programs.

We attended one of California Dressage Society's shows,Fox Canyon Farms (Somis, CA).

- Double Joy / 10 yr / HANN / Weltmeyer x Desperados FRH

Double has been a journey. He hasn't been the easiest horse, it took 4 years, and there were some moments where I didn't know if we would work together. I started working on a formula to make him softer and respond to my aids.

Now that we have figured out a home formula, now it's time to find a formula for his show rides. He showed every one his full athletic power, some bucks and a bolt. With that, we weren't able to showcase his quality movement. Though, this is just the start, and can only get better.

- Nespressa / 5 yr / KWPN / Sir Sinclair x Supremat OLD

Nessie was a ballerina. This was her first outing out of the facility, and she handled the show grounds like a pro. With this, we will be planning our training for her to debut her this fall, and attend Desert Dressage ( Thermal, CA) in first level.
